Description

Based within the village of La Morra, Angelo Veglio is a small grower who farms the south east slopes of the village, creating some wonderfully fruity and expressive Barolo.

In recent years this area has gained a lot of attention due to its ability to create wines with a very appealing core of sweet fruit, and Angelo Veglio's wines are a great example of this light, sweet and fruity La Morra style Barolo.

Ideal with braised meats and strong cheeses.

 

 

Tasting Notes

 
Nose: Bright garnet red with orange flecks and a floral, fruity bouquet.
 
Palate: A medium bodied wine with ripe red fruit flavours, cherry, rose and orange.
 
Finish: Balanced yet powerful.
