Romeo y Julieta No. 3 Tubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 17 October, 2014
I can only echo what everyone else has said; a great some, possibly my favourite to date. Not too strong and complex, although by no means bland at all. Subtle flavours and a good half hour of smoke time, mine burnt brilliantly and I was rather sad to let it go! Needless to say I'll be trying some more R&Js in the future.

Ramon Allones Specially Selected Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 30 September, 2014
I treated myself to the Ramon Allones Sampler - I have smoked cigars before, although would certainly not consider myself a connisseur. I was banished to the garden by the missus, although it was a thoroughly pleasant evening. A large glass of Tobermory came with me, as did a couple of candles stuffed into some beer bottles by way of illumination. I now thoroughly understand the joys of sitting by oneself and unwinding with a cigar. I now feel as though I have had a massage or a long hot bath; thoroughly relaxed. The cigar itself lit perfectly (I was a little apprehensive as I have torched the side of a cigar before) and drew brilliantly. The burn was more or less even, although I can probably contribute the slight uneven-ness to the breeze. The cigar was perfectly rescuable after leaving while I went back into the house to get a top-up midway through; a few puffs and it was buisness as usual. I cannot wait to try the other two from the sampler, and I will certainly add this cigar onto my favourates list. It tasted great right down to the point where I felt the warm glow on

Romeo y Julieta Petit Churchill Cigar - 1 Single

I am new to the world of cigars - this is my first review! The R&J Petit Churchill is the first cigar I have smoked that wasn't the regular corona shape; perhaps the slightly larger gauge was the reason I found this one a little more difficult to get a good light. Once lit it burnt well, I think I only had to relight twice, both times were really just precautionary re-heats. I enjoyed the pre-light draw, a lot of flavour and a very easy pull - Although I didn't do this on my previous smokes, so I have nothing to compare it to! The first half was pleasant enough, very smooth and with a raisin flavour coming through. I don't have a particularly sensitive palate, so it was nice to be able to pick up a bit of flavour with this smoke. There was occasionally a slightly herbaceous taste creeping in around the half-way point. Finally, there were mild coffee flavours - the last third being the most enjoyable. I'd thought that the Petit Churchill would be very spicy on the lips, but it was surprisingly mild in that sense. All in all an enjoyable 40-45 minute smoke, although I w

Romeo y Julieta Petit Julietas Cigar - 1 Single

Honestly? For me, only marginally better than a Monte Purito. More carefully constructed and slightly more interesting to taste. But not at the price. For a more affordable cigar, heartily recommend INKA range in preference to this.

A class act. My example was carefully constructed and spot on in terms of draw required. Flavours included pleasing hints of leather, none overpowering but interesting nonetheless. Lives up to the reputation overall.

The draw was quite tight initially, but loosened up about halfway through. Otherwise construction was good. Flavour was consistent, not unpleasant but certainly kept things on the simple side.
