Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchill Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 24 April, 2016
First impression;this is a very pretty cigar, the wrapper was smooth and flawless. The first inch was pleasant but extremely mild. From there on in the cigar delivered a more complex mix of flavours which intensified very gradually as the smoke went on. Burn was a little erratic but this didn't bother me as this is an immensly enjoyable cigar in a very mellow kind of way. Be prepared to burn your fingers, the flavours keep coming but never ever get close to being harsh. This is a real find. It's a mild cigar with hardly any pepperiness. Boy is it enjoyable. This one really put a smile on my face. I give it 6 stars. You would be crazy not to try one.

Romeo y Julieta Churchills Untubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 08 March, 2016
R&J's not really my favourites but due to reputation I wanted to try this little number. Glad I did, jolly pleasant it is indeed. The first third is very mild and sweet, anyone would find it accessible. There is a sudden but welcome change at the beginning of the second third. Darker, stronger flavours as the stick wakes up and grows. This is now a medium cigar and a fine one at that. My only disappointments were that there was not another significant twist at the two thirds marker and that by removing the tight band the cigar was damaged and began unraveling. Probably my fault but annoying nonetheless less. If you are going to be hanging around early evening for quite some time, this is a very impressive cigar to relax with. Very good.

Rattrays Stirling Flake Pipe Tobacco 50g Tin (Discontinued)

This is essentially Petersons Irish Flake. There is no appreciable difference, same manufacturer, same everything.A good smoke, perhaps troublesome to rub out,a little drying would benefit it beforehand, but a very good tobacco.

Ramon Allones Specially Selected Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 02 February, 2016
So far these have been the most consistent cigar i've smoked (although the last one was a little lively). They burn really well, smell amazing, and produce plenty of lovely thick smoke. The flavour has a lovely earthy roundness to it, with that lovely hint of chocolate you can get with cubans. I'm going to experiment with more RA's but i'm thinking i might always make sure a handfull of these reliable sticks are sat in my humidor.

my first RyJ. was quite pleased with this one. Light at the beginning, constant burn, becomes more spicy towards the end but nothing too strong. Perfect for a beginner like me. I've already bought more

Regius Robusto Cigar - Box of 25
Date Added: Thursday 28 January, 2016
Full to medium body without too huge a nicotine hit, but I'd still suggest it as an evening smoke or when out walking the dogs. Probably a good 45 minutes or more smoke. Nice flavour with a hint of marzipan plus some floral undertones, not too peppery. Find it goes well with a hoppy ale such as Brewdog Punk IPA. Draw is only slightly tight but a good bit of smoke results; you do though need to work with the cigar else it will go out. I found two light puffs per draw. Character does not change much through the session, it's pleasant without any new surprises. Ash is a dark grey and holds reasonably well, there is a good even burn throughout. Construction of the cigar is firm with the wrapper being slightly dark in colour and smooth with light veining. These have been sitting in the humidor for a good six months, this has mellowed the initial ammonia hint that I was getting. For their size and strength, I think they are very good value. Not my go to Nicaragua cigar, I'm a fan of Drew Estate, but value for money I think they are hard to beat.
