QUORUM

Quorum cigars are all handmade in one of the top cigar making countries, Nicaragua. You will find three different lines from Quorum, whilst they all use the exact same Nicaraguan blend they are each carefully wrapped in different wrappers, showing the massive impact a wrapper can have on a good cigar.

QUORUM SHADE

The Quorum Shade cigars are wrapped in a delicate Ecuador Connecticut Shade leaf, which is also grown in Ecuador, same as the Classic but the method used to grow this Ecuador Connecticut Shade leaf slightly differs to create a much lighter and delicate wrapper leaf.

These wrapper leaves are grown with with traditional shade covering method, which produces plants with features that are generally much lighter than those of the sun-grown plants, the leaf becomes thinner and much more delicate, with lighter colours and flavours. This creates a pleasant and easy going smoking experience with natural earthy flavours throughout.

Tasting Notes

Filed with spicy Nicaraguan long filler and paired with a special Ecuadorian wrapper leaf, Quorum smokers can enjoy a delightfully nutty, smooth flavour at a great price.

As a novice cigar smoker I decided to pick up one of these as well as 6 other cigars with various prices this being by far the cheapest one. So first of the construction of the cigar was pretty good, nice light colour no nasty veins lumps or bumps. Ever so slightly lacking on the filler. First light was easy. The cigar let of a lovely oaky smell which reminded me of the dad smoking cigars when I was young and brought back fond memories. Nice draw and burnt very evenly for such a cheap cigar. Taste throughout was consistent with no crazy flavours or complexity. A very mild Oaky, coffee taste with a very pleasent room note. The cigar however was hard to keep alight with not much in the smoke department leading to me having to relight it after the First 1/3. Overall not a bad cigar experience which I hope to improve on with my next cigar. Which I'm very much looking forward to.
