Mac Baren Classic Loose Cut proved to be pleasant enough, but slightly underwhelming due to the many enthusiastic reviews online. It is accurately described elsewhere as vanilla ice cream tobacco, but this is something of a back-handed compliment, depending on your tastes. As with all Mac Baren tobaccos I've tried, the cut and moisture is excellent, save for the odd twig. I found the aromas and tastes inviting without being alluring. The depth of the smoke is questionable, but then so is that of vanilla ice cream. Some will find this smoke to exceed their expectations; some will be underwhelmed. Wouldn't rush to buy again, but if someone offered me a pinch, I'd find it hard to turn down. Well worth your time and money if you're searching for a "vanilla" smoke, in both senses of the word.

Excellent tobacco if you like aromatics the pouch note is extremely sweet reminds me of high quality vanilla ice cream,this transfers through the smoke too. Easy smoking morning and night, this is often my go to tobacco.

Though new to pipe smoking this mixture really lives up to its name, the aroma from the packet is wonderful. And the favour is carried through when smoked. If you like aromatics, buy, smoke and enjoy.
