A bottle of King George IV Gold Label Old Scotch whisky, blended and bottled by The Distillers Agency Ltd., Edinburgh.

We estimate this was bottled in the 1970s.

Please note as this is a vintage whisky, conditions of bottle/label and liquid level can vary.

 

Tasting Notes

Nose: Rich aromas with hints of Christmas pudding, brandy butter and vanilla. Slightly nutty , with notes of ground almond.

Palate: Fruity and creamy with notes of caramel, manuka honey and a hint of refined wood smoke. Allspice and nutmeg develop.

Finish: Nutty finish with a surge of salt caramel and biscuity malt.
