I enjoyed a sample at the store, so purchased a bottle. Not the same experience at home. I taste a strong hit of alcohol rather than the beauty of the rum during my store visit. I've found if you use a small nose glass like a whisky tasting glass it does taste better, use a tumbler and it has a very bitter taste and bitter. My overall verdict is this is not worth ?80.00 at best ?30.00 I feel robbed. I would recommend Eagle Rare or Dom Maderas PX 5+5 over this at half the cost

Absolutely amazing! such complex flavours a bit sweet almost like caramel but very tasty, the wine flavours really come through but dont over power the rum
