The Davidoff Yamasa Pirámides has been one of the most impressive cigars I’ve smoked so far, and it completely changed my perception of what Davidoff is capable of. From the moment I picked it up, it felt bold and purposeful. On the cold draw, I noted dark earth, cocoa, and a touch of sweetness.

Once lit, the cigar opened with rich, deep flavors—black pepper, espresso, and mineral-heavy earthiness that immediately set it apart. The Yamasa wrapper brings a distinctive intensity, but it’s beautifully balanced by the Dominican filler. As the cigar progressed, layers of dark chocolate, roasted nuts, and subtle sweetness emerged, creating a complex yet controlled experience.

The pirámide shape helped concentrate the flavors, and the construction was flawless: razor-sharp burn, perfect draw, and thick, luxurious smoke. The strength built gradually but never became overwhelming.

This cigar felt confident, powerful, and refined all at once. It’s a standout blend that rewards attention and slow smoking, offering complexity well beyond what I expected.
