Glen Spey 12 Year Old Flora & Fauna - 43% 70cl

The whisky from Glen Spey distillery is primarily used in blends, so this Flora and Fauna bottling is a bit of a rarity.

The spirit stills at Glen Spey are equipped with purifiers, creating additional reflux, resulting in a light spirit.

A rather rare bottling as most of their single malt goes into Diageo blends, a tasty, smooth dram.

Serving Suggestion: Best enjoyed neat or with a drop of water.

Nose: Mild nose-feel. Closed. Lightly fruity - greengages and white grapes. With water, fresh and estery, but still relatively closed. Green pea-pods. Wisp of smoke - dead fires or charred wood. 

Palate: Warming. Light sweetness, with some acidity.

Finish: Dry, medium length. Some chocolate and light coconut in the aftertaste.
