Located in the Province Mendoza, Argentina; the winery is situated in the region that is considered part of the ‘primera zona’ or the ‘premier/first zone’, where the first vines were planted in Argentina.
Their vineyards root back until the 18th century. Founded by Tiburcio Benegas, the Governor of Mendoza in 1881.
An average old vine age is 70 years old with some blocks that are 100 years old. In total they are a 130 hectares vineyard and fully modern operating winery.
Colour: Ruby red with deep violet hues.
Nose Enticing cotton candy, stewed raspberry and graphite nose making this wine rather attractive. Mouth: Intense with red fruits, such as plumb and cherry as well as a hint of pepper from the Cabernet Franc, combined with an elegant oak essence.
Palate: Sweet, persistent, profound and with a juicy finish.
