Description

A 15 years old Cardhu Refill cask whisky, specially selected and bottled at natural strength for the S.M.D Staff Association.

Part of a highly sought after range of bottlings that were not sold to the general public. Selected by Malt Distillery Managers within UDV (and latterly Diageo Distilling Ltd ) and bottled at natural strength.

Although not stated appears to be a 75cl bottle. 

Please note as this is a vintage whisky, conditions of bottle/label and liquid level can vary.

 
 

Tasting Notes

Nose: Vanilla, with hints of fruit - apple and pear. 

Palate: Sweet, with vanilla and apple continuing through with some buttercream and wafer notes. Some white pepper spice begins to unravel in time.

Finish: The spices, mainly pepper increase but the sweetness does too over the long finish.
