An impressive new release from Auchentoshan from the year England won the World Cup! Here Auchentoshan have aged their triple distilled spirit for a 44 years before finally bottling in 2011 in a beautiful bottle.

Encased in a handcrafted aluminium and oak outer case that are each individually numbered, the Auchentoshan 1966 comes partnered with a booklet charting the history of this rare expression.

After over 44 years only 257 bottles of this rare expression of Auchentoshan remained.

Nose: An eucalyptus aroma emerges first, quickly followed by acacia honey and delicious Christmas cake.
Palate: The mouth-feel is incredibly soft and sweet with honey and mead notes, followed by a faint hint of herbs.
Finish: The finish is long, fresh and minty.
