I smoked this cigar (or at least lit it) 6 hours ago. Im still not entirely sure how to review it but here goes: Smoke time: 1 hour 58 minutes Drank with: glenfiddich 12 year old First impressions: rough wrapper, inconsistent packing but some shhen in the right light. Smelt good. Wrapper felt a bit loose/flakey. Also very dry. Cut/draw: tough to cut and really tight draw. Cut some more off, still a tight draw. Didnt dare cut more off for fear of the wrapper peeling off. Draw very tight. Worrying. First light: tough draw after a good minute if toasting. End lit well but very little smoke coming through. 1st third: sweet and woody notes. Very little smoke (apart from cherry end). Notice the wrapper is peeling off toward third 3rd. Very pleasant taste. Earthy notes coming through but mild. 2nd third: a bit more sweetness but it comes and goes. Cedar notes and something else coming through. Draw very slightly easing. Wrapper is not damaged anymore because Im being careful. Lots if smoke coming from cherry end . Still mild to medium. 3rd third. Becoming more full bodied. Heavy wood notes. Spice coming through. Draw has eased but needs some double draws to keep it lit. Cherry end plooming smoke like you wouldnt believe. Is it great? No. is it the best value for money cigar Ive ever smoked? Yes. £11 for a 2 hour smoke. Not the most complex or sophisticated but I did enjoy it once I knew it was developing. Would I buy it again? Yes. But not on the next order. Would suggest removing from cellophane and keeping in humidor for a couple of months.

I would say light to medium, not bad aroma and taste. mine was a pretty tight draw but that could be down to getting a dodgy one from looking at other reviews. overall not bad just a shame their wasnt much to it. 3.5 / 5

I reckon that as far as this vitola is concerned this stick is a steal. For this smoker Joya will remain a template of Nicaraguan taste profile and this is simlarly milky, light and enjoyable; Davidoffs delicious but overpriced offering be damned. Draw is quite loose and it might not be as well packed as some slightly pricier cigars but burn was even in this case, smoke flavoursome, though given a tad uneven filling I wouldnt be surprised if some required more work than others. Ash dropped naturally an inch in and never faltered. Its a big, nice, mellow cigar without much depth, sure, but really pleasant and worth the price.

After reading other reviews I was very carefull with this stogie. Still after 2 minutes the wraper began to flake and unfold. The burn became uneven several times aftr 20 minutes. That said it had a good draw and pleasant flavour, I might buy again on those grounds and the low price

The wrapper was very flaky and delicate and did get damaged during smoking, and for an hour an a half smoke, you really need a durable cigar. Price is great. The cigar did have flavour but unfortunately not a nice one! When I read on here people describing it as peanut, well, they are quite accurate. Question is, do you really want a cigar to taste like peanuts? Hmmm. I like peanuts but this cigar really didn't do it for me. Had to leave the final third as the taste just wasn't my cup of tea. And the cigar was falling apart rendering it un smokable
