I'm only an occasional cigar smoker so only needed a small humidor to hold maybe 6 or 8 cigars , this one fits the bill perfectly, quality is quite good and it seals pretty well . Colour darker than picture which is good in my opinion . I did get the analog hygrometer but ordered a digital one after , more accurate I think. If your an occasional smoker like me buy it , it's a great price and you can spend the money you save on cigars.

I have not bought a humidor before this id a gift for my partner he really wants to collect cigars so i thought this is the best one yo buy. Iv never bought one before so cannot compare.

This is my first humidor, so I don't speak from experience! I am, however, meticulous in my research and spent a lot of time looking at various comments on various humidors to see what was right for me, and this came out on top. I don't smoke a huge amount. Maybe 1 or two a month (if that), but obviously cigars don't take this into account - so I get myself a humidor after a particularly generous friend gave me several nice Cubans for my birthday. The first thing that drew me to this was the burl. I love burls and this is a really nice one. It's darker than in the picture (a good thing) but has the same textured look and is very attractive. It has a nice felt bottom and sits on my desk rather nicely. I was a little concerned about the analogue hygrometer (I've heard they're less reliable) so upgraded to the digital, which seems to be good. I was also a little worried that the humidifier hung down too far (it looks like that in the picture) but rest assured it doesn't. There's a good amount of space in there and the lay-out is nice. The cutter and matches are useful to have and I think the cigar ring-gauge chart is a nice thing for someone who's not quite sure how big 38 is etc. All in all, I'm extremely pleased with it - especially at the price - and I might well go off and get myself a nice engraved plate to go on top (I didn't get one from Cgars because I wasn't sure yet!). Excellent for a beginner or just someone who only wants to store 25 or so cigars.
