Perla del Mar is a historic cigar brand that traces its roots to Cuba. In 1905, four Cuban brothers started hand rolling cigars using tobacco grown on their family's farm in Cuba. They called their cigars "Perla del Mar" because of the beautiful Caribbean waters that surrounded Cuba.
Perla del Mar cigars feature a beautiful blend of Nicaraguan tobacco leaves from the 4 most popular growing regions in Nicaragua. This blend is finished off by a beautiful Corojo wrapper.

Very impressed by what I experienced and love the box-pressed shape.. This cigar had a great draw and burnt pretty evenly.
In the first 3rd I got some of the classic tobacco notes mostly, along with some hay and pepper in the background, which took me into the middle 3rd where the pepper notes became slightly stronger (but not overpowering), and followed by some earth. In the final 3rd the middle 3rds notes carried along but I also seemed to pick up some raisin notes which was pretty pleasant.
For the price you cant really go wrong with these!
