"Every month, for over a year, I had been working on blends with a special tobacco from Panama. The unique flavour of Panamanian tobacco, that I so thoroughly enjoy, somehow had to be shared with the world. Creating 18 different Panamanian blends, I smoked the third one in line and knew this was Black Market! The mystery of Panamanian tobacco and the crate like box in which Black Market is displayed illustrates this cigar’s journey."
- Alan Rubin

As with the rest of the Black Market cigars, it is made in Tobacos de Oriente in Danli, Honduras. The Black Market blend is a mixture of Panamanian and Honduran fillers with a Sumatran binder and Nicaraguan wrapper.

This powerful Nicaraguan wrapper leaf and a flavourful Sumatran binder wraps around fillers from small yield farms in Honduras and Panama. The most popular range by Alec Bradley!

Quite harsh on the first few draws but after that a great smoke until the harshness returns right at the end. Burns well & very good flavours especially at the price. I’d buy again.

This cigar has a very shallow cap, so be careful if cutting!! Nice even burn and produces lots of creamy smoke. Initially seemed a little harsh, but this settled down. Smooth and peppery. Became a little harsh again towards the end. An impressive 1 hour of smoking time though! Would definitely have again.

Smooth stick almost the entire way through. A bit of a shaky start with the draw in the first couple of puffs, but that could be the v-cut not going quite deep enough.

Rare blend of tobaccos from 4 different countries. Nicaraguan Jalapa wrapper, Sumatra binder and filler from Honduras and Panama. Earth, wood and a hint of liquorice are present in this rare and unique blend. David - C.Gars Ltd Cigar Ambassador

After aging these for six months, the beginning spice bomb has mellowed to a nice pepper and the taste has changed from a slightly sweet creamy nutty coffee, to a creamy cocoa. I would say these will probably be their sweet spot for me but if anyone has aged theirs for longer, IÂ’d be interested in how theyÂ’ve developed for you?
