When opening the tin, you're greeted by the sublime but subtle fragrance of honey, it's definitely not an 'in your face' smell. At the start of the bowl you can taste the honey bordering the rest of the blend, as you get further down the bowl it mixes in and blends more into an all in one taste. The honey doesn't overpower this blend once, but you know it is present. This is more of a natural smoke and is not your usual honey blend or even usual Gawith blend, recommended to anyone to try it.

The pipe tobacco when I first opened the tin smelled strong but when I had the first smoke it was a little sweet but not over powering and a nice smooth smoke and the longer that you have opened the tin the smoother the smoke.

Another great tobacco by Samuel Gawith, when first lit it has a nice Cavendish taste. There is a hint of honey but that fades out as you near the end, but it is easily enjoyed due to its smoothness and no tongue bite. All in all a really nice tobacco with such natural flavours.
