all i can say is wow. i had alot of trouble trying to get my humidor to a decent rh%.. bought one of these, took the lid off and put it in the humidor. job done,perfect humidity. would highly recomend this to anyone having trouble with their humidor or novice out there like myself.

I can't recommend this stuff highly enough. I had a lot of trouble getting the humidity right in my humidor. I tried several different humidifiers and bead systems but none of them did it.
This stuff, I put the jar in the humidor, and since shortly after the humidity has been pegged at 70%. Fantastic!

Thankfully cigar humidification is at last moving with the times and making use of the best available technology. Basically if you are one of those people who rely on distilled water to humidify your precious cigars then you should stop and think about the science of your chosen humidification method, because it is essentially flawed and you could be ruining your precious Cubans. Why? Well distilled water has no mean (average) rate of evaporation. It simply evaporates and delivers humidity to the atmosphere at an erratic rate. Propylene Glycol (PG) however, maintains a constant relative humidity of 70% - which is about what your cigars should be kept at. And it does this in an easy, convenient and functional manner. In this case, simply unscrew the top and place the jar in your humidor, job done! When the PG evaporates and the crystals (which carry the solution) shrink, just add more PG solution, it's that simple. Absolutely superb! I got one two months ago and simply popped it in the humidor and that was that. No messing around and perfectly humidified cigars. When I think of all the times over the years I messed up with the old humidifier and how that affected the flavour of my cigars I am converted to this product.

What an excellent little device this is. Humidor has sat at bang on 70% since setting this up inside of it. Very easy to use to!

Great stuff, such an easy bit of kit to use. No calibration required, just pop it straight in your humidor. As always, the service from C.Gars is second to none. Thanks Michelle!
