Eiroa First 20 Years Colorado 50 x 5 Robusto Cigar - 1 Single (End of Line)
Date Added: Wednesday 16 December, 2020
Wasn’t too keen on the shape as it’s flat on two sides, but one of the best cigars I’ve tried. Slightly sweet, and medium spice with a hint of pepper and leather, oddly has a creaminess to it aswell and nearest tasting cigar I’ve had would be a Cohiba maduro. Lasted about 1 hour, price is getting up there, but well worth it!

Purchased this as a try really but really enjoyed it. Burn was even all the way, draw was easy, flavour was lovley, quite woody and leathery for me but spicy at the end and aroma just as pleasant. Impressed.

This is an amazing smooth, medium strength, sweet cigar with a perfect draw. I was very impressed with my first cigar from foundation - will definitely be trying others!

So I had heard many positive reviews about this cigar so I wanted to check it out to see if the hype was warranted. The construction was very good (well packed with a beautiful wrapper) however there was a very slight whiff of ammonia. After I cut the cigar (straight cut) I noticed the draw was a bit snug. The smoke output was decent however I was having to draw harder than I would have liked to achieve the volume of smoke that would allow me to delve into its flavours. It was medium to full, rich with notes of leather, nuts and earth. The blend is quite bold and complex which was nice but I was still struggling a bit to get a nice draw that would fully allow me to extract its full flavours. The smell of the cigar on the nose was lovely and the burn was relatively even given I was smoking in the garden with a gentle breeze. In the final third it opened up a lot more to a draw that would have been great from the beginning. Overall it was a nice cigar but I cant help but feel that I didnt experience it in its full splendour so I will be purchasing a few more singles in order to get a m

I was really looking forward to this one, i buy one cigar a month and so it needs to be good. This however was a nice size, but after 10 minutes of toking i couldn't take it anymore and accepted defeat. This tastes like a 'classic' - no not something special but those cigars you get in a white packet from the newsagent, its a glorified classic. So, if you like the taste of cardboard fillers, and uncomplex leaves then this is for you, but for anyone else who hates dry, oxidised tasting, oak leaves go buy something else. If you like this sort of cigar, theres plenty of it to smoke, i never made it to the end. Cuban label looks fancy though. written by Pete Thompson
