Description

A miniature bottle of Vat 69 7 Year Old Liqueur Blended Scotch Whisky, blended and bottled by Wm Sanderson & Son Ltd.

This was bottled for the US market and imported by Park & Tilford Import Corporation, New York, Chicago.

Back labels reads: Youngest whisky 7 years old.

We estimate this was bottled between 1934 and 1941.

Please note as this is a vintage whisky, conditions of bottle/label and liquid level can vary.

 

Tasting Notes

Nose: A warm start with hints of spice and caramel, combined with barley malt as a hint of juice lingers.

Palate: Ground almonds and barley malt, like the nose, the warming aspect continues with pepper as a sweet tone lies underneath.

Finish: Woody with predominant spices combined with rich caramel.
