One of only 4300 bottles released from Rosebank distillery
Introducing the first release from Rosebank since its new ownership under Ian Macleod Distillers.
Release One is a stunning 30 year old single malt distilled in 1990, just a few years before the distillery last closed its doors.
Made up from a combination of 62% refill sherry butts and 38% refill bourbon hogsheads.
These limited edition bottlings will be released annually until the distillery is ready to release their single malt from the new stills.
Nose: Soft aromas of cream, caramel wafers, gooseberries and a sweetened honey hint.
Palate: Fruit which came on the end of the nose continue with a citrus tone, with pears and pineapple.
Finish: A lingering finish of candied violets, orange and faint mint.
