I love the size and shape of this cigar and it is very well constructed. As a smoke it is rich and full, with a tad of bitterness. ( The cigar was in very good smoking shape.) It’s an enjoyable cigar but a blunt and “in your face” for flavours. It lacks some subtlety. BTW the notion that “sophisticated” or “advanced” smokers like something heavier / bigger is really a stupid one. It’s all purely a matter of taste.


Mmmmm. I had one of these when I first started my cigar smoking habit back in March and didn't like it. I'm much more mature now six/seven months on and enjoyed it much more this evening. I Like box pressed cigars and, though I can't comment about the flavours -still too much of a novice - I can now appreciate what a great cigar this is. Inexpensive, nice rich, but not overpowering flavours, a really enjoyable smoke.


This is a fantastic cigar. Beautifully constructed and a lovely size. The smoke is quite dense, smooth, creamy and bursting with flavour. I love Rocky Patel cigars and have smoked quite a few of them but this one is one of the best in my opinion.... I have one more left, I don't think it will be in the humidor for much longer.. A must try!!!

