It wasn’t until 1969 that La Paz first launched their Wilde cigar range (originally named Wilde Havana despite not being of purely Cuban origin) These cigars are aesthetically rough, looking more like a hand rolled cigarillo, something not unlike a cowboys cigar.
An open end cigarillo makes it easy to light with no resistance. The looseness of the cigar also allows for an easy draw that provides a smooth smoke and as a result means these cigars are never an effort.
