The box is produced from sugar cane and wood by-products using innovative techniques, and features a modern and graphic pattern that draws inspiration from a traditional Japanese tatami mat – making it an ideal gift for design lovers and whisky enthusiasts alike.

A blend of Miyagikyo and Yoichi single malts with a unique grain whisky, Nikka From the Barrel embodies the expertise of the Nikka master blenders. Intense and generous, powerful yet controlled, this ambitious high strength blend is recognized for its originality.

Nose: refined, complex. Floral (lilac), fruity (apricot). Spicy (clove) and leathery notes.

Palate: powerful, firm. Spicy (pepper). Oaky. Develops into ripe fruit (peach), caramelised apple and flower (honeysuckle).

Finish: long. Marine notes and caramel. Ripe fruit (plum, peach) over a wood-vanilla base.
