Monkey Shoulder Original Whisky - 40% 70cl

Named after the temporary strain that the malt men of old used to develop when turning the malted barley.

Smooth and Rich. “Triple” malt scotch blended from three of Speyside’s Single Malts using batches of just 27 casks for a smoother, richer taste.

Nose: An elegant and stylish nose consisting of marmalade, cocoa and malt. There is also plenty of delicious vanilla and a hint of spice from nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon alongside aniseed.
Palate: Relatively malty and creamy with a suggestion of berry fruit. Juicy toasted barley, cloves and butterscotch. Manuka honey, hot-buttered-toast and dried apricot develop.
Finish: Medium length, spicy oak and a hint of peppermint on the tail.
