Description

The Macallan distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Craigellachie, Moray.

The Macallan Distillers Ltd, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Edrington Group which purchased the brand from Highland Distillers in 1999.

Deliciously smooth with a long, rich finish, the natural dark mahogany colour of the 30 Years Old is the richest in the range.

As always, this is presented in a luxurious wooden box and the iconic ribbon wrapped around the bottle, which has been featured in other rare Macallan releases.

 
 

Tasting Notes

Nose: Rich sherry, with orange clove, nutmeg and wood smoke.

Palate: Deliciously smooth, with dried fruits sherry, orange and wood smoke

Finish: Long and rich, with orange and spice.
