A miniature bottle of The Knockdhu 12 Year Old Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky.
We estimate this was bottled in the 1990s.
The whisky from the Knockdhu distillery was re-branded at AnCnoc, to avoid confusion with nearby Knockando.
Knockdhu Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is currently bottled under the Gaelic name anCnoc meaning "the hill".
Please note as this is a vintage miniature, conditions of bottle/label and liquid level can vary - Some years can vary as estimations only (example: estimated 1970s/80s).
Nose: Barely noticeable peat notes, subtle oakiness and dried raisins, apricots and dates accompanied by lime and barley sugar.
Palate: Quick burst of smoke, which gives way to fizzy, citrusy notes.
Finish: A heavier spirit than expected, with barley sugar, honey, green pear and star fruits balancing the oiliness.
