Plain and simple just awful! It was a loose, nasty tasting cigar that I didnÂ’t bother finishing.


I brought two of these on the basis of 1) I like the half corona size, 2) not had a Joya de Nicaragua before.... after trying both of these I found them pleasurable with coffee and earthy notes with a very slight cocoa undernote. Not a sweet smoke which is my prefable and not a touch as great as the H Upmann half corona, but still pleasurable.... both needed a slight relight half way through smoke and seem to be a smoke you can't leave long on stand-by. Draw was excellent so overall a 3.5 would be fair in my opinion. Worth a sample:)

