I have to disagree strongly with a lot of the reviews here. Those who say this is a tasteless or bland cigar must prefer the stronger Cubans or maybe darker/(richer) tobacco. I personally love these. They deliver a mild grassy flavour at first but by a third of the way through it starts to develop into a lovely medium, creamy, nutty and earthy flavour that continues right to the nub. These are also the perfect size if you're like me and prefer a strong cigar in a smaller package like a petit corona to corona vitola. The wrappers on these are rather scruffy but not too bad. You get what you pay for and they're certainly a contender for other similarly priced cigars. A great humidor filler and 50min to 1.15 hour smoke!

I have smoked 5 and found that 4 drew well and smoked evenly. No need for a powerful suck as they smoke fairly well. Flavour is average. My smoking environment is a large warm wooden chalet. After smoke aroma in chalet is less appealing than with Romeo's etc.

a brilliant budget cigar ok you get the duff one as good as any when your out shooting & @this price it does nat matter if you drop one in the mud or throw dodgy one away. What would like to say is that I mispaced my 10 cigar travel humidor & found it 2 years later they were a joy I would give them a higher rating but generally would not keep them that long.I currently have a box of portages D ring no4 cohiba madura & montecristo edmundos in the garage all of which are my favourites for lads nights also romeo & julliett julliettas for a quick lunch time smoke. back to the conservas these are the cheapest hand made havanas &should be judged on bang for the buck for me after more than 1000 yes thousand the jury is still out so I've bought another 50 too help me make up my mind

Very average cigar, just had one and it was okay.. I suppose its a cheaper cigar so you can't expect too much! nice draw/burn however really didn't enjoy the taste, a bit bitter and generally not overly pleasant.

I purchased a bundle of 25 Conservas 18 months ago. I got through 10 of them initially and have left the other 15 in the humidor. I would say the construction of the cigar was good compared to the Cazadores which I think has a rougher look. I was not initially impressed with the cigar and considered it a reasonable priced Cuban, not overly sophisticated. I decided to smoke one tonight and was very impressed with how the cigar had matured over the last 18 months. The pre-light draw was earthy and gritty, I noticed the draw was looser than I’m used to with more expensive Cuban’s. I put this down to it being a short fill cigar, I feel ageing these cigars does loosen and soften them up a touch. After lighting, I found it to be sweet and leathery, moving on to earthy coffee flavours. Half way through the cigar I found it similar to the monty no 4. The last third of the cigar developed into bitter citrus flavours with a rougher edge. I smoked this stick to the nub and thoroughly enjoyed it. Get 12 months plus on these and you won’t be dissapounted.
