Description

Johnnie Walker is arguably the most popular and recognisable blended Scotch on the market.

Its core range includes the standard Red Label and Black Label, introduced in 1909 and named, quite simply, after their packaging.

The iconic “striding man” motif was first drawn by Tom Browne the year prior. The premium Blue Label brand was introduced in 1992, and is composed using malt whisky from some of the most sought after distilleries in Diageo’s extensive portfolio.

Today, many of these distilleries are only still with us due to their importance to the Johnnie Walker blends during the difficult 1980s period for the industry. A true champion of the whisky world.

Johnnie Walker's most prestigious whisky. Probably THE most famous super-premium blend, made up of the finest old-aged malt and grain whiskies.

This bottle is a Venezuelan import.

Please note as this is a vintage whisky, conditions of bottle/label and liquid level can vary - The years are estimations only (example: estimated 1970s/80s).

Tasting Notes

Nose: Take in the wonderfully mellow, rounded nose – replete with dry smokiness artfully mixed with the sweetness of raisins.

Palate: Serving a velvety combination of vanilla, honey and rose petals – before broadening out to include a zesty orange flavour with notes of hazelnut, sherry and dark chocolate.

Finish: Signing off with a rich and luxuriously long finish, which showcases Johnnie Walker's trademark smokiness in the most sophisticated way.
