Didnt expect this one to be as good as it was. Complex enough with nutty, sweetness, and spiciness. Good burn and draw, ash held well. Gets a +1 for the price.

I received one of these in my subscription box as a mystery cigar and I really enjoyed it. The cigar had a nice woodiness all the way through. The first third had notes of black and white pepper, the second third the woody notes became stronger with a largely oak flavour with a really nice little hint of liquorice. The final third was quite sweet, almost caramel taste. I found the draw a bit too tight on this one but given how nice the flavours are Im very happy to overlook that. I would definitely recommend.

I bought this after seeing listed on the Director recommends page. Gauge was bigger than expected. Lovely burn throughout. Easy draw. Starts off quite bitter, but then mellows as you get through it. Nice subtle peppery flavour.

I've had several of these in the humidor, but I've been increasingly concerned about one that was developing a split from the foot end so I decided to smoke it yesterday before it disintegrated entirely. I always use a punch rather than a cutter, and the cap survived being punched well, although the base of the cigar did unravel slowly as I smoked it. In terms of flavour, this was as good as always, and given the problem with the split the burn was fairly steady most of the way down. However, by the time I reached the band the base of the cigar was also unravelling quickly and it was becoming increasingly difficult to get any sort of draw without putting half the cigar into my mouth. I eventually gave up with about one third left as it was becoming impossible to smoke. This is the first of these that I've had any sort of quality issue with, and although I'm keeping an eye on the last couple I have in the humidor they are looking fine. Hopefully this was just a one off, and on this basis I'm going with four stars.

Bought one of these a few months back and just gotten around to smoking it. Starts quite spicey and woody and a little bitter but once it settles it turns very nice indeed. Smooth and floral sweetness throughout with a touch of white pepper. Burnt perfectly requiring no attention or touch ups and lasted me the best part of an hour. A very enjoyable smoke indeed.
