Glendronach 2011 Handfilled Cask PX #3173 - 58% 70cl

Glendronach, located near Forgue, is one of the biggest names in Whisky. It was previously owned by the BenRiach Distillery Company and was founded by James Allardes in 1826.

Previous owners include Teachers and Sons, who put in four new stills in their time of ownership. The distillery went through a challenging period being mothballed in 1996 but reopened in 2002 with Allied Distillers at the helm.

The distillery like Benriach still uses its own floor matings and looks like it is here to stay since it is now protected as a category B-listed building.

A Distillery Exclusive from GlenDronach, hand-filled straight from the cask, at the cask strength of 58% ABV.

It was distilled on the 25th of April 2011, aged in PX Puncheon #3173, and bottled in May 2023.
