Description

Dating back to 1825 Edradour is world renowned as the smallest traditional distillery in Scotland, it stands alone as the last stronghold of handmade single malt whisky from a farm distillery still in production today.

Edradour 12 year old Oloroso Sherry Butt was distilled in 2011 and matured in 1st and 2nd fill Oloroso Sherry Butts.

This bottling is from seven of those butts and bottling took place on 12th May 2023, creating 4663 bottles.

Free from chill filtration and at natural colour and bottled at an ABV of 57.6%. 

Tasting Notes

Matured in sherry casks, this exciting release is teeming with thick leathery notes that meld into chocolate and fruit cake, as well as garibaldi biscuits and cherry.
