Connemara Peated Single Malt Irish Whiskey - 40% 70cl

An excellent whiskey, the first Irish single malt I have ever seen and tasted. A well presented box and bottle, easy to open, hard to put down! Lovely aroma to start with and first impressions are of a smooth and buttery sweetness, moderately peaty without a strong Iodine taste. This is a delightful well balanced whiskey that leaves a long, lingering sweetness and hints of oak leaves and peat. I was both amazed and impressed with my first Irish malt and would highly recommend it.
