Description

A heavily-peated expression from Benromach’s Contrasts series, aged exclusively in first-fill sherry hogsheads.

Benromach Peat Smoke Sherry Cask is only ever produced in very small batches, using the finest Scottish barley malted with very high levels of peat smoke at 57ppm.

Matured in first-fill oak casks for eight years, including a finishing off period in first-fill sherry hogsheads until it was bottled in 2023.

Tasting Notes

Nose:  Sweet vanilla and stewed fruits 

Palate: Citrus and summer berry 

Finish: Peat Smoke and ginger
