A little more slender than I prefer and not cheap, but a very nice long smoke that puts it up there on my buy again list. Cut and toasted easily and from the 1st to the final third a joy to smoke. No really bold flavours (Im no wine taster for hints of this or that) shes a medium/mild cigar but for the length of time youll (or at least I, Im a slow smoker) get its a good smoke, at a bit under the price of a No.4 M/cristo. From my notes this is Davidov 2nd line, it wont blow yer sox off but a mid price long smoke that I really like, spark up, grab your dog and go for a long walk, I wasnt disappointed by any means and Ill keep a pair in the humidor for a day when Dog needs a long walk. I think well worth the price, not every day but on the right day, a bargain.

Well what can you say about this cigar I have smoked quite a number of these and have not been disappointed once. Perfect draw, burn and billows of smoke ! A very earthy cigar progressing into notes of coffee and pepper but nothing too overwhelming and is very approachable for a beginner in my opinion although I am not one. A very nice format too that of a “corona Larga” giving you just the right amount of time and smoking pleasure and all for a very reasonable price.

Quite a quicksmoke for me, and nice and light a lovely feeling in the mouth both physically of the cigar itself, but also the flavours. A smooth easy draw. An enjoyable,if not somewhat quicker than my usual smoke. I think I need next ring gauge up

Among the small selection of half coronas purchased today in the Liverpool shop I asked for a recommendation for a Connecticut wrapped cigar and young David led me to this Davidoff second string Avo XO Preludio, which I smoked in the evening after a leasurly meal. From the outset it seemed a mild, lightly wrapped cigar with an easy draw, whose flavours of white pepper really developed in the last third. It held its ash well throughout and had no hint of bitterness, keeping a cool and even smoke to the last inch. Couldn't really agree with the rating of medium-full, which I wasn't looking for, my preference being a medium flavoured cigar. In short, a forty minute episode of sheer bliss and lustre, with my thanks for such a helpful recommendation. I'm glad I bought the tubed version for my case also, if I remember to look for it!
