Ardor Cometa Sandblast Fishtail Mouthpiece (ART531)

The Ardor Pipe has a history dating back to 1911, when the four Rovera brothers - Frederico, Carlo, Cornelio and Franscesco of Varese, Italy began the Manufacture of Briar Pipes. There they produced numerous styles of pipes under the Rovera name which were sold throughout Europe. In the early years, the majority of the pipes were machine made and only a small portion were handmade. The pipe factory used the many rivers as a source of power to cut and work the briar.

Dorelio Rovera has come out of retirement to create this New Line for ARDOR – The COMETA. Following on from the other “Celestial Objects” theme, this Pipe replicates the Shape and Path of a Comet streaking through the Sky. The Pipe is a classic Full Bent with a Rose Briar Band on the Shank where it joins the all Black Acrylic Pennellessa Mouthpiece. This is the very first example of this New Line that has been made by Dorelio, hopefully the first of many!
