This Ardnamurchan is a peated Highland malt, matured for 7 years in a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt with only 662 bottles filled at natural cask strength, 58.1% vol.

Nose: Red plum, capsaicin, barbeque sauce, pickled jalapeno. Hickory wood and beef jerky, Concord grape jelly and seaweed. Dr Pepper, cola bottles, strawberry coulis, blackcurrent leaf.

Palate: White grape juice, beach pebbles, tomato chutney, fatty avocado, deciduous forest and the sweet brine of a freshly shucked scallop. Ashy, rich and spicy.

Finish: Beautifully round and full, lingering finish.
