Alec Bradley black market.

Lovely looking cigar, deep chestnut brown wrapper with a nice feel and glossy appearance. Cut and lit with the greatest of ease instantly producing a thick, creamy white smoke with a sweet, "warm" smell to it, think of the smell of cooking waffles combined with a pot of coffee, take away some of the sweetness and you're kind of there. Very easy draw even though what is a relatively small cut in my case.

Nice even burn and a good white ash although it hasn't hung on to the ash perhaps as well as others I've smoked.

Flavour wise, the first third has something mocha-y about it, but not quite as sweet, so say if it were a mocha made with dark chocolate, you'd be more in the right ball park. A very cool smoke too, I am able to hold it in my mouth for quite some time and it doesn't become unpleasant tasting or uncomfortable to do, interestingly the longer you hold on to the smoke the more the flavour becomes earthy and leathery, quite a complex but well balanced and complimentary set of flavours going on here. The occasional bit of smoke escaping from the nose as you draw gives a nice woody, leathery aroma. Beyond the initial lighting though I'm detecting very little room note from this cigar - perhaps another good one for a "sociable" smoke.

Approaching the half way point and very little has changed, this is quite a consistent and delicious cigar indeed!

Into the last third and the flavour becomes a more aromatic, richer version of what has gone before with an ever-so-light and subtle spice undercurrent. My only real regret with this cigar is that it wasn't about 3 inches longer! (I keep shifting the band down so I can smoke more!) Definitely the nicest I've tried so far at this price-point.
