If there is one particularly famous cigar factory in Havana, it is Partagas. The factory was opened in 1845 by Don Jaime Partagas and it has been making the cigars that bear his name ever since.

A Partagas is immediately recognisable by its deep, earthly flavour. The character of its blend springs from a selection of filler and binder tobaccos grown in the Vuelta Abajo zone and chosen for their unmistakable richness of flavour and aroma.

Tasting Notes

This Mareva is a real powerhouse with rich, spicy flavours quintessential of Partagas.

90 / 100

"...The wrapper of this petit corona is sandy coloured and a bit rough, but it draws and burns well with sweet tea notes and hints of orange peel throughout the toasty, medium-bodied smoke..."

Very nice cigar, but quite a few in the box were partially plugged with a very tight draw and one was totally plugged. Shame as the good ones in the box were very good, but the bad ones drag them down to a 3 star. Rich

My favourite petit corona, just infront of the Bolivars. One of my favourite cigars all together in fact, a delicious smoke. Dry earth, cocoa and roasted coffee dominate the flavour as well as the rough spicyness that defines Partagas cigars. A rich and complex cigar. Beautiful. written by A.Dyer
