E.P Carrillo The Pledge Prequel Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 15 May, 2024
Great smoke, I first picked up this cigar after seeing the high reviews from Cigar Aficionado. It was given cigar of the year and a rating of 98/100. I am not too familiar with cigars but out of the 20 odd different ones I've smoked this is definitely a stand out

Very pleasing smoke. Not in anyway robust or strong, but mild and smooth. That is note to say it is bland. Far from it, just the favours are well blended without any harshness. Notes of marzipan and dark chocolate in the latter stages, and maybe a hint of paprika. Draw was excellent along with a steady even burn throughout, and plenty of thick creamy smoke. Lasted just shy of an hour whilst sat in the sun enjoying a pint from the village pub. Left a very acceptable aftertaste in the mouth.

E.P. Carrillo Encore Majestic Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 08 April, 2024
A pleasant Cigar overall. Smoked this over the weekend and it paired well with a red wine. Overall body, construction and smoke output was great . Opening flavour notes were predominantly Earthy leathery and cedar wood. Second third spicy with amplified earthy statements and notes of pepper on the back palate. End was equally rewarding with balanced consistency of the above mentioned. This was a smooth cigar half way and a bit more noticeable on final third. Overall a Medium bodied stick that ends up towards the end full bodied in my opinion , but only towards the end of final third . I guess most cigars have that characteristic as oils concentrate heavily towards the end . That being said this stick by UK prices is value for Vitola ? less than ?25 for a big stick is about 1 hour plus of herfing. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Chris from Cigars@Aaron?s.

El Rey del Mundo Choix Supreme Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 31 March, 2024
My last review was on an AVO and I wrote that I literally cannot get on with new world Cigars in general. Yesterday I had a siglo IV and today this choix supreme. It was delicious, great burn and draw with a punch cut which is my choice nowadays. It reminded me why I love Cubans and will stick to them. Plentiful medium smoke with a sweetness in first half that was very tasty. Last third a bit of spice then the last inch was magnificent. I gather the oils concentrate at the end, and the syrupy smoke given off was a delight. Not a strong smoke, just a fine 45 minutes with enjoyable flavours. Will be ordering again

Empty Pipe Tobacco Tin - Round - Lucky Dip
Date Added: Saturday 02 March, 2024
For 75p? It's great. Great little piece of convenience, I was using a cheap and bulky Chinese-takeaway tupperware before and this fits in my bag a lot easier. I can't speak for the quality of its seal - whether or not it's actually airtight enough to keep your baccy fresh & moist - as I keep my gear in a ziploc baggie inside this tin (about 20g worth though it'll surely hold a lot more). A tiny bit too big to be 'pocket sized' - just a pre-warning. But overall, great. I'll certainly grab another with my next order of pipe tobacco.
