My first foray into Honduran cigars, and my word what a smoke! For reference, my usual smokes are Quorum shade growns, Monte No. 4s and pretty much anything Fuente (especially on a Friday). Im not going to go mad trying to describe all the flavours: all Ill say is I thoroughly enjoyed this start to finish (and I do mean finish, there must have only been half and inch left when I finally put this away). Smooth as silk to start, but plenty of favour. Even on the back end, as the smoke started to warm up, there was only the slightest hint of bitterness. Enjoyed with HMS Victory navy rum from the IoW Distillery.

Smoked straight from the tube, very well rolled, smokey charred oak and leather no changes but had a hint of cream (flavour not texture) on one of the draws,
tasted a bit young but i guarentee these will be a lovely super smooth smoke for the mild lovers after a year+ in the humidor
Five star because its so cheap

I bought a couple of these in Shepherd Market and left them in one of my humidors amd forgot all about them. A few months later I took one to my club and smoked it on the terrace. A slight bore to get going, but it burned besutifully and opened out very well indeed. A perfect afternoon smoke.

I first smoked this cigar at the Cuban festival some 5 years ago and brought back some boxes with me.While in Cuba I met David Savona (Cigar aficionado) who asked my opinion of it and I told him 'first class' He smiled and said he would check it out. It rated a 94 in later editions ! (No, he did not hire me !!)I am surprised that these are still around so pick some up at a very reasonable rate from C.Gars. Limited editions like this sometimes slip under the radar so don't miss out !!
