Regius Connecticut Corona Cigar - 1 Single

I am just getting back into cigars after many years away. This cigar gave me the perfect balance between usability and a most pleasant smoke. It lit well, had an easy draw, a wonderful aroma and taste. No idea how long it took to smoke because I was lost in the moment. Smoked the same all the way down. I'm too new to cigars to perhaps appreciate or notice the subtle change in flavours as it develops. However, my experience was one of joy. Now, a note on usability. This could well have been user error: I made a simple V cut and the end seemed loose. Indeed, in removing a stray flake of wrapper the whole thing unravelled and fell off. I don't know if the cigar was too dry or I'm simply an incompetent fool. Likely the latter. Having said that the cigar structure stayed firm. I opened up the draw end to a full cut. Maybe I missed out on the flavour the wrapper would've brought. And maybe the smoke would've lasted long, although it was long enough. Even so, my experience was not marred and I only want to further my journey. Cigar smoking is more than just smoking;

Romeo y Julieta Petit Churchill Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 22 October, 2025
I did not purchase this cigar from C. Gars as a longer version was gifted to me, the experience is my own and was enjoyable. This review will be posted on the other Churchill bands as the flavour remains the same but the cigar band is the only thing that differs. The Romeo y Julieta Churchill is one of those cigars that instantly feels special from the moment you pick it up. For someone like me still building experience, this cigar set a new benchmark for what a refined, classic Cuban should deliver. It’s beautifully constructed—firm, smooth, and fragrant before lighting. On the cold draw, I got soft notes of cedar, earth, and a hint of sweetness. Once lit, the first third opened with that signature Romeo y Julieta creaminess, layered with mild spice and wood. The smoke was smooth and aromatic, never harsh, and the draw was perfectly balanced. As it developed, gentle floral and nutty tones appeared, with moments of cocoa and toasted almond weaving in. The burn line was impressively even throughout, showing the kind of craftsmanship the brand is known for. By the final third,

Rocky Patel Orchant Seleccion Rothschild Cigar - 1 Single

Perfect construction and fill means perfect draw using a guillotine cut, nice amounts of relatively dense white smoke, lovely cool burn. Initially has a hit of spicy black and white pepper alongside some unexpected, creamy sweetness, shifts to bittersweet cacao and leather alongside light roasted nut, strength is low, body is a medium low. Ash holds for an inch revealing a perfect cone. Good looking, hugely understated cigar, perfectly even mocha coloured wrapper. Well worth buying a box at this price.
