A.J. Fernandez Blend 15 Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 14 May, 2022
Slight toothiness to the wrapper which was extremely thin and delicate - as others have stated it is incredibly fragile and prone to ripping although mine did not do so at the cap but under the band. This thankfully didnt badly effect the smoke, which was pleasant throughout and full of deep cedar and earth flavours - tempered occasionally with a hint of nuttiness and spice although these were difficult to differentiate over the strength of the woody flavour. Obviously not as nuanced as other cigars but theres nothing wrong with a lot of strong flavours as long as they are good ones! The draw was a little on the loose side but this complimented the flavours by making it an easy smoke and it burned relatively evenly throughout. Will definitely try this one again to check for consistency but otherwise well worth trying for yourself.

Not bad although as soon as I cut the stick the wrapper started to unravel. As I smoked and got half way down it started to unravel even more. The flavour profile was really nice, with a good draw. I probably got the short straw. I would give it another chance and buy again.

Rich, spicy and earthy. Nice flavours but I had the same issue as the other reviewer in that the wrapper unravelled when I cut the cap. Be careful.

The construction of this cigar lets it down. As others have said, very fragile wrapper. I didn’t have an issue when cutting the cigar. However, when I removed the band the wrapper gave way completely. It didn’t effect the smoke too much but still not desirable. Overall flavour of the cigar is beautiful. Can definitely find better for the price though I’d say. I probably wouldn’t purchase again as it’s a bit of a gamble with the wrapper unfortunately.

One of my favourite cigars Ive tried so far this year or ever the draw is looser I thought which for me is always a good thing and the flavour of the cigar which to me came through as a earthy aromatic taste was there from the start to finish. I would definitely recommend getting this cigar!

I got an A.J Fernandez New World in a sub pack a while back and was amazed at the quality and taste of the cigar, so I had to try a cheaper cigar to see if the quality held up, and IÂ’m pleasantly surprised to say it has! This cigarÂ’s wrapper like the New World is so flawless and smooth. You can literally run your fingers across and not feel one vein or bump, itÂ’s just smooth as silk. IÂ’ve been looking for premium cigars for every other day smokes/relaxation and decided to purchase this particular cigar on price and my last experience with the New World. Like the other reviewers, I had a wonky burn to begin with but with some minor touch ups, I was happily smoking away and relaxing after many, many days of rain. Once you remove the band, the cigar looks larger to the naked eye. ItÂ’s rather deceiving. I gave mine a V cut and the toasting was fine, and as I said, the burn was off to begin with but I never let my own sometimes sloppy lighting or a wonky burn out me off. The smoke is plentiful with a crisp white ash that solidly holds. The flavours I always believe are subj
