Quorum Shade Grown Tres Petite Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 12 October, 2018
I found this cigar to be quite pleasant. Flavourwise it wasnt the most complex of cigars having notes of wood and cream which was pretty consistent throughout. A nice, after dinner stroll smoke.

Davidoff Winston Churchill Raconteur Petit Panatela Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 09 October, 2018
Normally go for the larger cigar but needed to try a Davidoff! Smooth smoke but occasionally harsh, not terrible but a surprise when you dont expect it from an overall pleasant smoke. Agreed with one review, it did burn a bit like a cigarette. However, the overall experience was enjoyable and whilst smoking this cigar I got a few remarks from people saying how pleasant the aroma was.

I guess you would say that I am a seasonal cigar smoker, that is to say, that I don’t smoke every day and ususally only outside in the summer. So after my winter cigar hibernation,(from which I emerge maybe once on New Year’s Eve for a rather chilly herf huddled around the patio heater), I like to start off the season by aclimatising my pallate with a milder cigar, usually an HdM Epicure No.2. My enjoyment of cigars is usually curtailed by the weather conditions and my ability to sit still and enjoy a cigar without the cold making it a more rushed experience than I would like. After an unusually stunning summer here in the UK and some wonderfully relaxing herfing while in France, the last few weeks of wet and dreary weather had left me hankering for a cigar. Today’s conditions were as perfect as we are likely to get for some time, so suitably attired, I headed out to the garden with an relatively mild espresso, a tot of Havana Club Especial and a petit robusto. As with most HdM cigars, the construction is very good, with lovely matte oily wrapper starting to develop after a l

La Invicta Nicaraguan Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 09 October, 2018
Fairly new to cigar smoking, smoked the occasional cigar in the past and thought lets get in to this pleasurable pastime a bit more. Well here we go! Nice constructed cigar, lit well and burned well. Had to relight once, but that could be because I take my time smoking and I was just short of an hour. Initial taste great, very smooth and pleasant but I felt the taste started to leave a bit just over half way through the cigar. Even ash burn and held well, good 2cms before it needed to come off.

Alec Bradley Orchant Seleccion Shorty Cigar - Box of 10
Date Added: Monday 08 October, 2018
As someone who is fairly new to smoking cigars I have tried a handful of different brands over the last few months, one of which was an Alec Bradley which I loved. So with that in mind I thought I would treat myself to a box of these shortys. I smoked my first last night and I am half way through my second as I write this review. The first third is sweet and creamy which then develops into a warming pepper taste in the second third of the smoke. You are then rewarded with a subtle spice hit in the last third to finish things off. With a ring gauge of 50 it feels nice to hold and gives a good hours smoking time. The burn is even, with a good draw and plenty of smoke. For a cigar for under a tenner you can’t go wrong with these and I will definitely be buying again

Rich and slightly earthy with slight bitter coffee undertones. I had mine with a coffee stout and enjoyed thoroughly, definitely would buy this again.
