Inka Secret Blend Red Petit Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 29 April, 2019
New to serious cigar smoking but this is possible the worst cigar I’ve smoked. Don’t know if I had a “bad one” or if they’re all like this. Poor flavour from the first puff. Hard to smoke at all really. Constant relighting. No taste whatsoever. Genuinely disappointing. Will not be buying again. Even to see if it was just a bad luck purchase.

Oliva Serie G Maduro Belicoso Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 29 April, 2019
My first foray into the Oliva brand will not be the last. The Serie G introduces itself with rich coffee and chocolate flavours, a creamy and luxurious smoke which left sweet toasted-almonds on the finish. I couldnt help but smile after every draw. The chocolate moves aside in the second third giving way to a full bodied leather and darker roast coffee profile, earth and oak, there were some tangs of pepper but so mild I would discount them. The cigar finishes by toning down the leather and bringing back some of that earlier sweetness, this time in the form of the earth and wood flavours, a good ending to a great smoke. Perfect burn and build. My only regret is that I only bought one.

Padron 1964 Anniversary Series Torpedo Natural Cigar - Box of 20
Date Added: Monday 29 April, 2019
Good cigars, but practically no resistance on the draw whatsoever - despite being very careful to only snip off the bare minimum from the cap - like sucking through an empty straw. I noticed these cigars have a very messy bunching at the foot full of large gaps and have a very lightweight feel in the hand, as if under-filled. Burned well however, with some lovely flavours. It reminded me in some ways of a good Sancho Panza Belicosos, only more complexity and richness from the second third on. Started very mild - woody, a little cocoa and sweet cream, but from the opening the peppery spice (especially through the nose) was quite aggressive for such a soft bodied cigar, slightly unbalanced in that respect. Developed to a solid medium body with some manure and light earthiness. A little saltiness and mild leather notes coming in in the back third along with a faint papery dryness and a little bitterness that lingered on the very short, dry finish. Finish was dry, woody and nutty. Certainly nice cigars but there are many better ones for such a high price.

Charatan Churchill Tubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 28 April, 2019
Im no expert but here is my take... This is acceptable for the price. You get a heffer of a cigar. Prior to smoking this i kept it in a humidor (out of the tube) for over 2 months at 72%RH. It burned quite slowly but smoke was mediocre and the draw was a little tight. The flavour was neither too bland or too over powering. I felt like I was smoking a £12 cigar. I normally never do this but I took the ciagr band off (this weakens the wrapper if taken off to early) it started to unravel and burn very unevenly after a third of the way through. I tried to re cut it to give it a second chance but this did nothing. I looks nice, tastes okay, burns slow and has a tight draw. And its also pretty. But please for the love of all things cigars dont maky my mistake. Only take the band off when the burn line is about a half inch away from the band.

Davidoff Winston Churchill Traveller Belicoso Cigar - 1 Single

An absolutely delightful smoke. I’m not a cigar “aficionado”, nor a big spender! But this cigar punches well above its weight. Maybe one day I’ll be lucky enough to purchase cigars of superior quality. But hey-ho, this will do for now! Ordered more.
