Casa Turrent 1901 Robusto Maduro Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 09 August, 2019
I was expecting something wonderful from this stick, i had let it settle in the humidor for a few weeks, lit nice and easy, first few draws were smooth with plenty of smoke, about an inch in the burn became uneven and taste, well didnt seem much going on, the draw became quite difficult, quite a peppery smoke. However it may have been the worst of the batch so wont write it off just yet so will go with a neutral review.

Inka Secret Blend Red Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

So I purchased one of these cigars the other day completely out of impulse, and all I can say is I wish I’d bought more!! Everything about this cigar was immense, from the construction to how it lit, to the ash, burn, draw, smoke, flavour....everything!! If you’ve not got the budget to be spending big money on Cubans get yourself one of these!! You won’t regret it. Great cigar for a fantastic price.

Decent cigar considering the use of short filler, notes of chocolate on the cold draw, good woody, sweet smoke but you do get what you pay for.

Davidoff Primeros Nicaragua Maduro Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 08 August, 2019
A lovely quick smoke. As with all davidoffs it is very well constructed - great draw with lots of smoke. Tight ash throughout and doesnt burn hot despite its size. Stronger than what I usually go for but a very pleasant 30 minutes.

Brick House Double Connecticut Short Torpedo Cigar - 1 Single

Had this cigar recommended to me by a friend and it did not disappoint. Cut around a quarter inch from the top which provided a nice, slightly airy draw for starters but not too lose as to compromise the flavour. The first third consisted of mainly creamy coffee notes while the 2nd and final thirds consisted of more spicy & earthy. Took around 50-55 minutes to get through and paired with a nice Jura single malt which really brought out the creamy side of this gorgeous cigar. Good construction with a nice even burn and a good ash which never fell away until around just past half way down, would definitely recommend especially for just over £10 a stick. Wonderful smoke.

Luis Martinez Hamilton Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

Another New World cigar punching above its weight. Well made, nice gauge & lit well after punch cutting. Plenty of pleasant smoke & a nice rich coffee taste in the mouth with an easy draw. I really enjoyed this & for the experience (never mind the price) I will be buying more.
