Stalla Dhu Islay - 70cl 40%

For an Islay, mid peaty and decent mid heavy taste. It's not as tarry as caol ila, and on the sweet side. A good session whisky, one I'll happily drink all might

This cigar was included in a sampler I bought and unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. Maybe I was just unlucky and usually they are fine but mine had such a tight draw it was almost impossible to smoke. I did what I could to try and loosen the draw but couldnt really get any flavours and gave up after the second third. A big let down but again I might have just been unlucky.

One of the nicest cigars I have smoked under a tenner. Well made, plumes of fragrant, smoke, smooth, flavoursome and everything you can wish a good cigar to be.

Cohiba Piramides Extra Cigar - 1 Single

Smooth and well rounded. Balanced almost to perfection with a hint of spice but rather mellow, digestable taste that lacks bite but is consistently nuanced. Build is second to none with great draw throughout and with this vitola you can really sink your teeth in and enjoy at leisure. It really lends itself to a lazy evening and a slightly sweet, mild skotch. At that level though, price point might be a concern and there certainly is better value to be found elsewhere.

I prefer these to the Romeo y Julieta mini.

Good chance to try something different. Excellent value for money (plus you get a quality leather pouch). Definitely worth a try.
