Quintero Petit Quintero Cigar - 1 Single

This came as part of a selection and initially seemed a bit dry yet spongy. After three weeks in the humidor I tried it this mid morning with a coffee on a pleasantly sunny breezy October Sunday.
It is quite loosely wrapped and on cutting the wrapper flaked a little- not a good start I thought but it pleasantly surprised me. It lit easily, burned evenly and was not surprisingly an easy draw due to it being loosely rolled. Despite the breeze the ash stayed on until half way. I like a mild aromatic cigar in the morning and this was up to the mark. On my palate it was a little chocolatey and then mildly peppery as it progressed. I put it out before the last quarter as it was beginning to become a little bitter. It burned rapidly so only lasted the time took me to drink two medium size mugs of coffee. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and wouldn’t turn one down if it was offered to me. Would I buy more ? While I can afford an Upman, probably not but don’t let that put you off trying one.

A little powerhouse of a cigar. Fairly straight burn, nice draw but doesnt burn to quick. Lots of flavour. Wasnt expecting it to be this good. Will buy again.

Just smoked this as part of my cgars monthly red Cross parcel and all I can say is sublime, on lighting up it gave a sweet taste on the tongue but a spicy maltloaf flavour on the exhale which after a while became mellow maltloaf which in turn gave way to a creamy coffee like flavour the sweetness in the mouth remained all the way through. This is one of those cigars that you dont want to end, its just become my number one smoke. Big up cgars definitely five stars

What can I say about this montecriso. Well its just simply fantastic. I have smoked 2 or 3 of these and in my humble opinion I think these are the most flavoursome Ive sampled. Quality from start to finish. Perfectly constructed, great burn and a must purchase for a real treat. You will not be disappointed

One of my new favourites. Lots of delicious smoke. Lovely even burn and a nice draw. Im not an expert, just got better and better.

Nice rich stick .
Had it with a double IPA and the sweet coffee tones in each went together brilliantly.
Sweet and cool with loads of creamy smoke ,will try others from them.
