Great cigar at an affordable price. Smooth consistent burn throughout. Medium body. Slight nicotine hit during 3/3. Definitely a good go-to everyday cigar. 4.5 out of 5.

First cigars I’d ever tried and just ordered my second batch as I enjoyed them so much, lovely to smoke for 40/50 minutes with a beer in the garden!

Chinchalero Picadillos Cigar - 1 Single

As a beginner and smoking Montecristo, these for the price to enjoy with a beer as a more causal smoke are superb - highly recommended!

Trinidad Reyes Cigar - 1 Single

Bit gutted with this purchase, i love Trinidad as a brand and really enjoyed the Trinidad Colniales Short. This cigar was a wee bit tough on the draw, even after altering the cut top improve draw. The first 3rd was pleasant smooth creamy smoke rich in Vanilla, pepper/spicy floral notes. Unfortunately this is when the cigar unraveled and fell apart becoming harsh, bitter, the only cigar i had to stop smoking because of construction flaws. Benefit of the doubt this time round. Will have to revisit and review again.

Not a complex one. Irregular, but good from 2/3 to the end. Bit pepper in the end. Can get more good option at the same price...

Now it’s been a while since I started smoking and have been on the journey with Cgars from day one. On that day I purchased a starter sampler. It had everything you needed and some cigars with the monty no4 one of the figure heads. When I smoked that it had flavour. Nutty, earthy, smooth and noticeably a Montecristo. It started the journey and since then my pallet has developed as has my expectations of a decent smoke.
A lot has changed and as money is not flush given the current climate I thought I’d revisit this former love and it’s fair to say I think this is one that hasn’t stood the test of time.
I know this is a very popular cigar and so I wonder if that’s effected things. It was also less half the price when I first started so that maybe effecting my judgement but as other reviewers have said, my one didn’t really hit me with anything of note. It’s not unpleasant and should be a go to for beginners but others in the brand simply offer more. It may be a bad batch but I’d pay £3 more and take a Petit Edmundo over this any time.
